Private Yoga Classes:
Private yoga classes are creative and diverse. This is because the class is not limited to a set sequence nor is it limited to any particular tradition. Private yoga tends to be creative in nature, so it can be modified to the level, needs and priorities of the practitioners, such as injuries to the body and mind.
In my private classes, I teach a wide range of techniques based on the knowledge of Patanjalis 8 limbs of yoga adapted to the needs of every practitioner, whether that means focusing on the area of the body, the mind or both.
Ptanjali’s 8 limbs of yoga:
1. Yamas (restraints)
2. Niyama (observances)
3. Asanas (postures),
4. Pranayama (breath control)
5. Pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses)
6. Dharana (concentration),
7. Dhyana (meditation)
8. Samadhi (pure contemplation or bliss)

Personal Goal:
I encourage practitioners to bring movement and breath into their awareness. This creates a meditative state, encouraging practitioners to stop thinking and focus on the experience of the present moment, which further encourages growth and recovery. How I plan and direct the classes completely depends on your personal goal.
Excellence is achieved with consistency over time. One of the most rewarding experiences of this path has been working with private clients and seeing their progress, class by class, week by week.
